Paramount+ has released the official teaser trailer for the fourth and final season of ‘Yellowjackets,’ promising one last descent into the darkness as the survivors prepare to return home and face the terrifying price of staying alive.

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, ‘Yellowjackets’ has built a chilling saga around a talented high school girls’ soccer team whose lives are changed forever when their plane crashes deep in the remote northern wilderness. What begins as a fight for survival gradually spirals into something far more disturbing, as the stranded teenagers descend from a close-knit team into savage, fractured clans.

Blending survival horror, psychological thrills and coming-of-age drama, the series follows the girls’ increasingly desperate attempts to survive while also exploring the lives they have tried to rebuild nearly 25 years later. But as the new teaser suggests, escaping the wilderness was only the beginning. The survivors may finally be heading home, but the past is far from finished with them.

With its final season on the horizon, ‘Yellowjackets’ looks set to bring its twisted mysteries, buried secrets and psychological torment to a head. The question now is whether the survivors can ever truly leave their darkest experiences behind, or whether the horrors that shaped them will follow them for the rest of their lives.

The fourth season features the return of Emmy nominees Melanie Lynskey and Christina Ricci, alongside Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya and Jenna Burgess. Two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank also stars.

Guest stars include June Squibb, Elijah Wood, Molly Ringwald, Devon Sawa, Sam Braun and Dulé Hill, among others.
