Lynda Carter brought plenty of glamour to New York's Angel Ball, but her skincare secret couldn't have been simpler.  The Wonder Woman star, 75, shared her refreshingly straightforward routine exclusively with HELLO! at Gabrielle's Angel Foundation's Angel Ball 2026, held at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday, October 19.

Asked about her glowing complexion, Lynda replied: "My skin care honestly and truly it's soap and water."

The actress explained that she uses a clear soap, offering a surprisingly simple answer while dressed in one of the evening's most dramatic looks.

Lynda stepped onto the carpet in a floor-length, figure-skimming gown covered in tiny reflective embellishments, with a scoop neckline and a sheer-effect finish.

Over it, she wore a long black outer layer framed by oversized, lustrous ruffles. The sculptural collar rose around her shoulders, while further ruffles cascaded down the front and decorated the cuffs.

Sparkling drop earrings and embellished pointed shoes completed the outfit. Her brunette hair fell in voluminous curls, with rosy blush, defined lashes and pink lipstick adding the finishing touches.

Posing with a hand on her hip, Lynda clearly enjoyed the opportunity to dress up. "I tried to be as glamorous as I could possibly be tonight," she told HELLO!, playfully adding: "Ruffle ruffle."

The actress was among this year's Angel Ball honorees, alongside Dionne Warwick and philanthropist Nicola Verses, with the event benefiting cancer research. 

While Lynda embraced the evening's glamour, she was keen to explain the serious purpose behind her attendance.

"It's about serious subjects and it's about celebrating the fabulous minds of scientists and science and illuminating what they do for us," she said.

Medical research is a longstanding interest for the actress. Her official website details her work with City of Hope and TGen to support research into new drug therapies for people with myelofibrosis, alongside her support for Alzheimer's research organizations. 

Speaking to HELLO!, Lynda also expressed concern about relying on artificial intelligence without human expertise, comparing it to flying in a plane without a pilot. "It takes skill to do it, and it takes people," she said.

She returned to the importance of empathy and human connection: "That's why I'm here is to remind everyone that we're human and that the people that help us the most are human."

Lynda also spoke warmly about her daughter, singer-songwriter Jessica Carter Altman, who has previously joined her mother as a special guest during live performances. 

Asked whether they might collaborate again, Lynda was enthusiastic. "Well, my daughter is such a gifted musician and singer and songwriter, so I'm, I'm always hopeful," she told HELLO!.

As for a future project, the proud mother left the decision with Jessica: "I write a little bit and sing a little bit, so very possibly we'll see, it's up to her."
