Apple opened preorders for the iPhone Duo on Oct. 16 through its website and Apple Store app, offering a foldable phone with its largest iPhone display, an A20 Pro chip, and two batteries.

Preorders began at 5 a.m. Pacific time. Customers can choose home delivery or pickup at an Apple Store, with trade-in credits, financing, and leasing options available under the offers outlined by Apple.

The iPhone Duo’s inner display is 50% larger than the screen on the iPhone 18 Pro Max, providing more space for viewing content, gaming, and multitasking. When folded, its 5.4-inch outer display offers 90% of the screen area of the iPhone 18 Pro.

Apple describes the device as its thinnest iPhone when opened. A hinge allows users to switch between the compact outer screen and the larger inner display.

The phone runs on Apple’s A20 Pro chip and uses a dual-battery design that the company said delivers all-day battery life.

Its iOS 27 software adapts to the folding design while retaining familiar iPhone controls. Siri AI, powered by Apple Intelligence, uses personal context to provide assistance, with Apple emphasizing privacy and security.

For customers considering an upgrade, Apple Trade In offers credits ranging from $175 to $885 for eligible iPhone 13 or newer devices. The credit can reduce payments under eligible leasing, installment, or carrier offers.

At the end of the lease, eligible customers can upgrade to a newer device, purchase the phone through a one-time payment, or return it and leave the program.

Apple Specialists can assist customers with payment options and device protection plans. Philippine pricing, preorder arrangements, and local availability were not included in the announcement.
