Amanda Seyfried described life as “interesting” while discussing how she’s doing after separating from Thomas Sadoski, her husband of 9 years. The 40-year-old actress acknowledged that interviews are difficult at the moment, then added: “But, for a good reason.”
“I don’t know, I think everything that’s happening is meant to happen [and] everything, everyone that’s in your life is meant to be in your life,” she said.
Seyfried and Sadoski announced their split together, saying: “We have been separated for a while, and it’s proven to be the right move for us and our family unit.” They share a 9-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son.
They met while working on the off-Broadway play The Way We Get By in 2015 and eloped in 2017.
Seyfried also offered some lighter subjects she’s happy to discuss. “I like to talk abut the emus, and I like to talk about Halloween and you can engage with me if you want to talk about all things like apple pie and olives and really good hard ciders,” she said.
