Travis Hunter inspired the Jacksonville Jaguars to victory in London, in a game he will never forget.
The injury that cut short Travis Hunter‘s rookie season dulled a lot of the hype heading into his second year. The Jacksonville Jaguars star has been busy reminding everyone just how good he is.
Hunter is a rare player who plays both sides of the ball. He is a gamechanger at cornerback, and at wide receiver.
He produced a defining performance in London in the Jaguars divisional loss to the Texans, grabbing an interception, before catching a touchdown minutes later.
Hunter became the first NFL player since Brian Dawkins in 2002 to score a touchdown and grab an interception in the same game.
And you can safely say this won’t be the last time Hunter does it. He is just getting started. A performance like this will only earn him more snaps on both sides of the ball.
Hunter’s performance was not quite enough to power the Jaguars to the win, with the Texans clinching 34-31 thanks to a late field goal.

Travis Hunter’s big offensive contribution came at a good time. Brian Thomas Jr had his worst moment yet.

Thomas Jr was being held without a catch, continuing a trend. Over the last two games now he has been targeted five times, with no receptions.
It is not impossible that the Jaguars could try and trade him away before the deadline next month.
Thomas Jr had a huge rookie season when he broke through, but he is on a downward slide which may not be reversible.
