NIZHNY NOVGOROD, October 22. /TASS/. The European stance on the Ukraine conflict is anti-Russian, highly confrontational and dangerous, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said at the Nizhny Novgorod Economic Forum.

"The European group is currently taking the most anti-Russian, the most belligerent and, therefore, highly dangerous position," he noted.

The deputy foreign minister reminded listeners that diplomacy is the art of reaching agreements. "We are not giving up," Ryabkov said. "We are playing on many boards and will continue to do so. We are open to peace."

"Russia cannot be isolated by definition, as it is a continent in itself and an integral part of Eurasia," the senior diplomat stressed. "Let this be remembered by everyone who thinks otherwise, you will achieve nothing by attempting to dictate your will to great Russia and its partners.".
