Although the contract closed marginally above 22,820 yesterday, the breach was not decisive. Also, the October futures has declined in today’s early trade.
However, there is support ahead at 22,680, which can arrest the decline. That said, as it stands, the resistance at 22,820 can be considered valid.
So, for today’s direction of trend depends of whether Nifty futures breaches 22,680 or 22,820 first.
A breakout of 22,820 can lift the contract to 23,000 whereas if the support at 22,680 is breached, the downtick can extend to 22,550.
Trading strategySince there is lack of clarity now, traders can stay. Consider initiating trade in the direction of the break of the 22,680-22,820 range.
