MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Agriculture is one of the mainline areas in cooperation between Russia and Africa, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said.

"Speaking about specific cooperation [between Russia and Africa], then, certainly, agriculture is one of main areas. Our country is a stable supplier of food, fertilizer and other critical agribusiness sector products [to countries of the continent]," he said.

Russian mineral fertilizer supplies climbed above 2.2 mln metric tons in 2026, Ushakov told reporters.

"Russian deliveries of mineral fertilizers stood at 1.5 mln tons last year and surpassed 2.2 mln [tons] this year," Ushakov said.
