This past week, Donald Trump spoke at the EPA Headquarters in Washington about AI data centers that are being built in communities across the nation.
As far as how Americans really feel about data centers? It's not good. A Reuters poll recently found that only 14% of Americans are comfortable with a data center being built in their community, while only 1/3 approve of how quickly they are being built.
In a now-viral clip viewed by over 1.4 million people, Trump said, "You have to convince your community how great these things... You can't fight it. You have to go with it."
"You're gonna make a tremendous amount of money," he continued. "You're gonna reduce taxes, and you're gonna have something that if you don't have it, everybody else wants it."
