Asteroid Redirect Robotic Mission (ARRM) - это космическая миссия замысел которой состоит в том, чтобы попытаться переместить астероид на лунную орбиту, что должно существенно облегчить его изучение. ARRM и планируемый затем пилотируемый полет должен будет помочь НАСА отработать технологии которые потребуются при будущем полете к Марсу.

12017-05-18. GAO обнародовало данные о состоянии процесса разработки миссии Asteroid Redirect Robotic Mission.
Согласно отчету GAO, в августе 2016 проект (Asteroid Redirect Robotic Mission) ARRM прошел этап предварительной проработки дизайна и технологий. В результате этого стоимость шестилетней миссии увеличились, в основном из-за однолетней задержки даты пуска, которая была вызвана краткосрочными ограничениями финансирования. К основным техническим проблемам проекта была отнесена технология захвата части астероида. Также GAO отметило, что Президентский проект бюджета на 2018 год предложил отменить этот проект. Прогнозная стоимость проекта составляет от $1.672 до $1.822 млрд (включая ракету-носитель, но исключая операционные расходы).
