Спутник ФКИ. Foton-M No. 4. [Редактировать]

Космический аппарат «Фотон-М» №4 (далее по тексту – КА «Фотон-М» №4), со-стоит из спускаемого аппарата (СА), приборного отсека (ПО), агрегатного отсека (АО), платформы средств отделения (ПСО), солнечной батареи и других элементов общей сбор-ки КА. СА и ПО являются герметичными отсеками.

Возвращаемая научная аппаратура (НА) устанавливается внутри СА и на наружной поверхности СА. Общая масса возвращаемой научной аппаратуры, устанавливаемой внутри СА и на наружной поверхности СА, составляет примерно 430 кг.

Сбор, преобразование, запоминание и передача на наземные приемные средства значений телеметрических параметров научной аппаратуры осуществляется радиотелеметрической системой КА, которая обеспечивает контроль состояния и работоспособности научной аппаратуры в режимах запоминания информации с последующим воспроизведением её в сеансах связи (от 2-3 раз до 6 раз в сутки) и в режиме непосредственной передачи информации (радиолиния в S-диапазоне частот со скоростью 512 кбит/с). В ЦУП проводится оперативная обработка телеметрической информации и передача её участникам проведения научных экспериментов. Каналы, предназначенные для сбора телеметрической информации научной аппаратуры, опрашиваются с частотой: 100 Гц - в режиме непосредственной передачи;  3 Гц - в режиме запоминания.

Состав научной аппаратуры и программа проведения космических экспериментов на борту КА «Фотон-М» №4 сформированы в результате анализа заявок российских и зарубежных организаций, выполненного Советом РАН по космосу, и утверждена Совместным Решением Совета РАН по космосу и Роскосмоса. Всего на борту «Фотон-М» №4  размещено 22 типа различной научной аппаратуры, часть из которой прошла апробацию с положительными результатами на борту КА «Бион-М» №1 (здесь подразумеваются следующие наименования научной аппаратуры: ГК-01, летавшая в составе НА МЛЖ-01; БИОКОНТ-Б; БЕЛКА; ДОЗИМЕТР-РДЗ; ППН и МЕТЕОРИТ).

За 60 суток нахождения на орбите космическому аппарату «Фотон-М» №4 предстоит выполнить обширную научную программу, которая включает, по уточнённым данным, 130 экспериментов в следующих областях:

  • космическое материаловедение (12 космических экспериментов),
  • кристаллизация белков (36 космических экспериментов),
  • физики экстремального состояния вещества в условиях микрогравитации (30 космических экспериментов),
  • изучение фазовых переходов эвтектических сплавов (2 космических эксперимента),
  • физика микрогравитации, эксперименты по контролю и управлению уровнем остаточных микроускорений на борту КА (13 космических экспериментов),
  • космические биология, физиология и биотехнология (35 космических экспериментов),
  • контроль космической радиации, а также технический эксперимент апробации нового метода температурного контроля (2 космических эксперимента).
