Спутник связи. Gorizont 33. [Редактировать]

«Горизонт» — спутники связи на геостационарной орбите, которые предназначались для обеспечения телефонно-телеграфной связи, передачи программ центрального, республиканского и регионального телевидения, а также связи морских судов с береговыми станциями. Разработаны и производились в НПО ПМ начиная с середины 70-х годов прошлого столетия. Всего были запущены 33 аппарата (первый запуск 19.12.1978 г, последний запуск 06.06.2000 г). Ещё два запуска были неудачными.

КА «Горизонт» были спроектированы для расширения возможностей космического аппарата двойного назначения «Радуга», так как одного гражданского транспондера этого спутника Министерству связи СССР не хватало. Кроме того, нужен был КА работающий в Ku-диапазоне (14/11 ГГц) для приёма на небольшие земные антенны. Четыре новых спутника были выведены на орбиту в 1978—1980 годов к открытию Олимпиады 1980 года в Москве и реализовали в сочетании с «Экранами» схему «пятизонового вещания»: территория СССР была разделена на пять зон и на каждую зону транслировался свой (с учетом местного времени) вариант программы Центрального телевидения. Кроме того, с 1988 г. через «Горизонт» действовала система «Океан» (1.5/1.6 ГГц) для обеспечения связи с подвижными средствами. В постсоветское время, спутники использовались для распределения программ ОРТ и РТР в России от 14 з. д. до 145 градусов в. д. Самый мощный транспондер C-диапазона использовался ОРТ. Еще один транспондер на большинстве спутников обслуживал РТР. Спутники использовались также для вещания радиостанций «Радио России» и «Маяк». Региональные ретрансляционные центры принимали эти сигналы с помощью антенны диаметром 7-12 метров.
