Спутник ДЗЗ. KySat-2. [Редактировать]

KySat-2 построен по стандартам кьюбсатов. Несмотря на размер, KySat-2 обладает оптико-электронной системой низкого разрешения (построенна на основе ОС Linux), бортовым компьютером, цифровой камерой, литиево-ионными батареями, солнечными электронными панелями и радиоприемником. Для создания некоторых деталей KySat-2 студенты использовали 3-D принтеры. Спутник отправляет сигналы каждые пятнадцать минут, сообщая на Землю, о том, что он исправно работает, что именно включено, а что выключено. Эти данные могут принимать все наземные станции, с тем, чтобы затем передавать их студентам. KySat-2 Будет передавать фотоснимки, сделанные его бортовой камерой, так же, как данные датчиков, которые измеряют силу магнитного поля Земли. Ожидается, что спутник будет работать на орбите от года до полутора лет, до того, как повторно войти в атмосферу Земли и сгореть там. Основная целью проекта является - образовательная поддержка студентов университета, которые работали над спутником. Основной задачей КА является сделать один снимок поверхности Земли на витке и передать информацию на Землю. Предыдущая попытка запустить подобный аппарат окончилась неудачно.

Задачи, которые были решены студентами в ходе разработки аппарата:

  • разработка платформы, для малых аппаратов;
  • разработка системы питания аппарата;
  • интеграция полезной нагрузки на аппарат.
