Спутник технологический. LightSail A. [Редактировать]

LightSail, разработан компанией The Planetary Society. Основным предназначением аппарата является демонстрация возможностей использование солнечного паруса на околоземной орбите. Основу аппарата составляет платформа 3U Cubesat. При этом, вся электроника аппарата будет занимать 1 юнит свободного пространства. 2 юнита будет занимать сам солнечный парус. Дополнительные сенсоры и системы управления будут унаследованы от стандартных решений которые ранее были разработаны для данного типа платформ и имеют летную квалификацию. Площадь поверхности паруса будет составлять около 32 квадратных метров в развернутом состоянии. При этом, аппарат будет выведен на орбиту около 800 км над поверхностью земли, что позволит ему снизить влияние атмосферы.

12015-05-28. Тестовый полет микроспутника LightSail A столкнулся с трудностями из-за программного обеспечения.
Технологическая миссия по отработке технологии движения космического аппарата на орбите при помощи паруса столкнулась с проблемами связанными с программным обеспечением космического аппарата. По заявлению разработчика все работы остановлены, поскольку бортовой компьютер не отвечает на команды с Земли. Причина проблемы лежит в том, что, аппарат должен каждые 15 секунд передавать на Землю данные о своем состоянии, однако, каждая такая пересылка сопровождается записью в файл бортовой системы. Соответственно, как только объем файла достиг 32 мегабайт, то это привело к остановке системы. Разработчик аппарата также отметил, что производитель авионики уже исправил эту ошибку, однако данная версия программного обеспечения не была заложена на борт. В качестве решения проблемы инженеры предложили передать на спутник обновление, однако, последний не отвечает, поэтому разработчик принял решение осуществить перезагрузку бортовой системы, однако и это действие не возымело эффекта, поскольку аппарат не отвечает на запросы. В компании также надеются на то, что ситуация может быть исправлена за счет воздействия быстрых заряженных частиц на аппарат, что позволит осуществить срабатывание системы защиты и перезагрузит систему без необходимости передачи команды с Земли.Тэги: LightSail A

Космический аппарат LightSail успешно восстановил работу батарей и развернул свой солнечный парус. Ранее специалисты неоднократно пытались развернуть паруса, однако выполнить необходимые манипуляции не удавалось. В частности, 4 и 5 июня паруса не были развернуты из-за недостатка энергии. LightSail состоит из четырех солнечных парусов треугольной формы и космического аппарата на основе 3U CubeSat. Предполагается, что в движение аппарат будет приводиться под действием давления солнечного света, подобно тому, как при помощи ветра по воде перемещаются парусники. Общая площадь солнечного паруса, изготовленного из майлара, равна 32 квадратным метрам.
