Французское космическое агентство и компания Airbus заключили контракт на производство оптического прибора для космического аппарата MicroCarb, который должен будет измерять содержание в атмосфере и источники CO2. Microcab будет являться первым европейским аппаратом который будет исключительно измерять и искать источники диоксида углерода. Мари-Сеголен Руаяль в ходе своего визита в Тулузский космический центр официально открыла здание Pierre Auger, которое является первым помещением CNES разработанное по требованиям HQE. В дальнейшем здание общей площадью в 5700 квадратных метров будет задействовано для проведения испытаний ракетно-космической техники на предмет поведения в условиях космоса. Также в процессе открытия министр объявила о том, что страна запустит КА MicroCarb в 2020 году. Press Release Space Systems 13 avril 2016 Airbus Defence and Space sélectionné par le CNES pour réaliser l’instrument de MicroCarb, le cartographe du CO2 • MicroCarb va cartographier, à l’échelle mondiale, la concentration de dioxyde de carbone dans l’atmosphère et surveiller ainsi le réchauffement climatique Airbus Defence and Space, numéro deux mondial de l’industrie spatiale, vient d’être sélectionné par le CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales) pour la conception et la réalisation de l’instrument optique de MicroCarb, un micro-satellite destiné à cartographier le dioxyde de carbone à l’échelle mondiale. Dès son lancement prévu en 2020, le satellite étudiera les sources (lieux d’émission) et les puits (lieux d’absorption) du dioxyde de carbone pour comprendre les effets de ce gaz à effet de serre sur le changement climatique. « Quand il s’agit de comprendre les évolutions du climat de notre planète, nous avons besoin de la meilleure technologie afin de recueillir les données les plus précises et les plus fiables», a déclaré François Auque, Directeur général de Space Systems. « Ce sera le cas avec MicroCarb, un satellite de nouvelle génération grâce auquel nous allons enfin comprendre comment le CO2 agit sur notre Environnement et sur notre climat ». MicroCarb sera la première mission européenne entièrement dédiée à la mesure du CO2. Les résultats seront obtenus grâce à un spectromètre opérant dans des bandes spectrales visibles et en proche infra-rouge. L’instrument est optimisé pour déterminer la concentration en CO2 avec une précision d’une partie par million. MicroCarb va compléter le programme Merlin, qui est actuellement en cours de réalisation par Airbus Defence and Space. Cette mission du CNES et du centre aérospatial allemand DLR va mesurer la concentration de méthane par un LIDAR, un instrument qui mesure les distances en illuminant des cibles au moyen d’un laser. MicroCarb est prioritaire pour la compréhension et la surveillance du changement climatique. Le démarrage du programme avait été annoncé pendant la COP21 en décembre 2015 à Paris. Airbus Defence and Space réalisera l’instrument optique sur son site de Toulouse avec une contribution importante des PME françaises. MICROCARB – V FILTER MICROCARB – V is capable of absorbing any of the odours. Special Activated Carbon media is used. Three sizes are available for the different applications. No maintenance is required. High filter surface area and flow rates obtained by the equally pleated, MICROCARB – V media construction. Rigid frame construction allows easy handling and shipment. All filters are produced in standard frame size to suit most applications with the advantage of easy installation. The permissible high final pressure drop of the MICROCARB – V gives a long service life between changes. The MICROCARB – V compact for limited space applications and storage. Activated carbon is used only to adsorb materials that are in gaseous or vaporized state: materials that cannot be removed by particulate filters.
