Спутник ДЗЗ. Radarsat 2. [Редактировать]

Этот радарный спутник характеризуется пространственным разрешением от 100 м до 1 м, возможностью съемки во всех возможных поляризационных режимах, широким диапазоном площадей кадров и очень высокой производительностью, а также возможностью мониторинговой съемки через 2-3 дня. По сравнению с предшествующим космическим аппаратом Radarsat-1, новый спутник Radarsat-2 имеет ряд существенных технических усовершенствований:

  • установлен новый радар с активной фазированной антенной решеткой, обеспечивающий съемку с пространственным разрешением до 1-3 м;
  • реализован режим многополяризационной съемки с сигналами двух или четырех видов поляризации одновременно;
  • обеспечена возможность съемки районов с левой и с правой стороны относительно трассы полета, что позволяет сократить время повторного просмотра;
  • увеличена емкость бортового накопителя для выполнения глобальной съемки;
  • увеличена точность определения орбитального положения и ориентации спутника и, как следствие, более точной геопривязки изображений.

12015-07-09. Малазийское агентство заключило три контракта с MDA.
Malaysian Remote Sensing Agency (MRSA), агентство которое работает под руководством Малазийского министерства технологий и инноваций, заключило три контракта с MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates на получение информации с космического аппарата Radarsat 2. MDA также поставит наземную станцию для работы с аппаратом Radarsat 2, подготовит персонал который будет способен создавать новые продукты на основе данных с аппарата. Кроме этого, компания должна будет до поставки станции обрабатывать заявки малазийского агентства в приоритетном порядке.

8 июля в Москве прошел семинар «Радарные технологии RADARSAT для экономики России», организованный ГК «СКАНЭКС» совместно с канадской компанией MDA Geospatial Services — оператором спутниковой радиолокационной программы RADARSAT. Познакомиться с методиками применения радарных данных и реализованными проектами пришли более 40 участников, представляющих компании из разных отраслей экономики.
В ходе семинара специалисты MDA рассказали о программе RADARSAT, особенностях работы радиолокационных спутников и преимуществах использования получаемых с них данных. Особое внимание докладчики уделили возможностям, которые открывает использование радарных данных для мониторинга поверхности морей, ледовой обстановки, паводков и наводнений, детектирования положения морских судов, нефтяных загрязнений, решения задач лесного и сельского хозяйства, нефтяной и газовой промышленности.

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates (MDA) получила два контракта от компании DigitalGlobe на поставку наземных станций приема информации в интересах двух иностранных заказчиков. Отличительной особенностью решений от компании MDA является то, что они в основном ориентированными не только на передачу информации в единую систему хранения снимков, но и позволяют осуществлять обработку изображений в режиме реального времени. Компания DigitalGlobe объявила о том, что она начала добавление в свой архив и связанную с ним платформу данных полученных с КА Radarsat-2. По состоянию на 2017 год объем хранимой оператором информации о Земле превысил 100 петабайт изображений, а с расширением объема данных о высоте DigitalGlobe может существенно расширить свое присутствие на рынке пользовательских систем 3-Д моделирования.

52017-12-14. RADARSAT-2 помог создать перманентную дороге к арктическому океану.
Согласно сообщению космического агентства Канады, в ходе создания новой дороги (Inuvik Tuktoyaktuk Highway) к арктическому океану активно использовались предоставляемые радарным КА RADARSAT-2 возможности по съемке Земли. 138 км хайвей стал первой подобной дорогой, которая позволила стране получить доступ к северному океану. Как ожидает правительство, строительство дороги приведет к тому, что стоимость жизни населения в Tuktoyaktuk упадет на $1.5 млн в год.
