Научный малый космический аппарат несущий на своем борту комплект научной аппаратуры для изучения электрического и магнитного полей, а также потоков частиц.
На аппарате установлены:

  • измеритель электрического поля EFI;
  • феррозондовый магнитометр FGM;
  • индукционный магнитомер SCM;
  • электростатический анализатор ESA;
  • твердотельный телескоп SST.
