MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. Staff at Russia’s Permanent Mission to the UN in New York can move only within a "25-mile zone," Director of the Foreign Ministry’s Department of International Organizations Kirill Logvinov told TASS ahead of the UN General Assembly High-level Week, which will be attended by a Russian delegation led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

"The dialogue with the US side to remove bilateral irritants, including restrictions on staff of the Russian Permanent Mission to the UN, is ongoing," the diplomat said. "The movements of employees of our permanent mission in New York are still limited to a ‘25-mile zone.’ Our diplomatic mission’s property on Long Island has been illegally seized by the host country."
