NEW YORK, October 23. /TASS/. Representatives of the US Democratic Party should stop backing the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict and instead support American leader Donald Trump’s efforts to resolve it, Republican Сongresswoman from Florida Anna Paulina Luna said.

"We’ve had many Democrats that are saying, Oh, President Trump has waged war in Iran, but they still want to continue the war in Ukraine. And what I would say is, let’s be consistent across the board here. Support President Trump’s efforts, not just in Iran, but also in Russia, Ukraine," Luna told Fox News.

If Trump succeeds in facilitating a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian conflict, "it will truly be historical," she added.
