The Mob brings together a roster of reality TV stars and celebrities for a new competition program inspired by the mafia, where one contestant gets whacked in every episode. Emmy nominee Parker Posey (The White Lotus) hosts the Hulu show, and each cast member claims to be her biggest fan.

"I wore an outfit from Party Girl this morning, literally, but she wasn't there to see it," Willam Belli (RuPaul's Drag Race) told Gold Derby during a group interview with the cast (watch above). "She's got a movie [Wild Horse Nine] coming out Nov. 6. I can't wait to see it. Who do you think started the Oscar buzz? Us!"

"I love Parker Posey," echoed rapper Romeo Miller. "I'm going to just keep saying that."

Each week, one contestant on The Mob is named the Don, and they must decide who makes money and who gets whacked. Filmed at a lavish Italian villa, the series offers up to $250,000 in cash and prizes for the ultimate winner.

Harry Jowsey (Let's Marry Harry) said that the location was "heaven on earth," adding, "We got so lucky to be filming a show in Italy. Like, what a blessing. There was a pig farm near us, too, so we could see the pigs in the morning. It was very calm and quiet in the morning, and when the cameras came on, then everyone got angry at each other. But apart from that, it was really beautiful and really special."

"No matter who was yelling, the view was great," laughed Maria Georgas (The Bachelor).

Demi Engemann explained how there was "no difference" between the mafia world of The Mob and her original show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. "We're actually friends and family here," she noted. "I jokingly said in one of my interviews that I came well prepared, and I meant that. There were some cutthroat moments on that show. This was a walk in the park compared to what I've dealt with [on the show] with those women. This was a breath of fresh air and I really connected with everyone."

Maria and Shane Parton (The Bachelorette) agreed that Bachelor fans should watch The Mob "because they won't see us broken-hearted. They'll actually see us in a position where we can break hearts without handing out roses. We hand out whackings."

"I can show you a rosebud," Willam deadpanned.

In the series premiere, the team led by Joe Gorga (The Real Housewives of New Jersey) won the initial challenge and he became the show's first Don. Joe appreciated how Demi was willing to turn on her team leader, Harry, so he secretly rewarded her with some money. The Don also threw cash at Willam and Debi Mazar (Younger) for their willingness to honor "family" above all.

Then it came time to whack the first contestant, and the pressure got real. Joe's two choices were Bella Palk (Love Overboard), whom he called the "weakest" member of his team, and Harry, who failed to lead his group to victory. Ultimately, Joe decided to kick Bella to the curb, making her the first boot of The Mob.

"I could squish him like a bug, but that's neither here nor there," Bella told us about the Don. "Honestly, I think that there's this perception that a lot of people have of me, unfortunately, that I'm this little ditzy bimbo. And I am! But, also, I am a hillbilly. I'm so used to getting my hands dirty. Actually, I am a hard worker and sometimes trying to put this thing together, it's a little rough."

Romeo comforted Bella by saying, "If I was the Don, I wouldn't have whacked you first."

Bella explained that her anger toward Joe was "water under the bridge" after filming. "It's all good — as long as he never does anything like that again," the Love Overboard star warned while flashing a smile.

"There might be a flood under this bridge with all the water we're putting under it," Willam chimed in. "It's going to be like raging water rapids."

Demi thought it was "obvious" that Harry should go home first instead of Bella, since he was friends with some of the Mormon Wives stars who had beef with her. "It was self-preservation because I knew and could feel that he was coming for me," Demi confirmed.

"I was!" Harry announced. "I was trying to get her out as quick as possible. I think we had a good time, but she was trouble. As soon as I got there, I was like, 'This is the one that's gotta go.'"

Unlike the other players, Willam (as well as Debi) started out the game inside a vehicle's trunk. "They saw what I was bringing and they said, 'You need your own entrance, sweetheart,'" Willam joked. "I would've loved people coming for me, but I only have two wrists and only so much time in the day."

Romeo felt that Joe was the biggest villain in the competition, saying, "That was my dog and I was loyal to Joe on The Mob, but Joe had some interesting whacks on there and a lot of people weren't too happy about that. I think it worked out pretty OK for me. Joe played the role of the Don and he was in it, like a method actor."

Willam nodded, "He's the big bad, even at 5-foot-5."

Shane remarked that the show's major villains were "every single woman in here — I'm surrounded by baddies."

Maria said everyone was crying "happy tears" during filming: "We were all learning something new about ourselves and it made us emotional. I think a lot of us had maybe different experiences on other shows, and I think coming on this one, we were like a family and we actually truly became that."

All seven mobsters we spoke with confirmed they would play the game again if asked to return for Season 2.

"Hell yeah," stated Maria. "But now we know too much. I wonder who would switch things up?"

Romeo declared, "I enjoyed the experience. It was a really fun experience."

The cast also includes Aida Turturro (The Sopranos), Bruno Tonioli (Dancing With the Stars), and Chelsea Lazkani (Selling Sunset). The Mob streams Mondays on Hulu.
