In Reply We appreciate the responses to our Viewpoint. We agree with the authors of both letters that strengths of the ASQ include ease of administration, low cost, availability in many languages, and extensive use in primary care settings. However, we maintain that the ASQ is a screening tool, and results can guide choices about surveillance but not be used as an end point.
