Looking to switch off and disconnect? Then KHUN needs to be on your radar. A self-described preventative wellness company, KHUN is set to launch its first destination in Fujairah later this year.

Debuting in late 2026, KHUN will invite guests to embrace stillness and connection through uniquely crafted 48-hour experiences, which focus on health, environment and restoration, all brought to life through wellbeing practices rooted in Arabic traditions. Rather than relying on typical wellness programming, KHUN will replace quintessential wellness schedules and programmes with architecture, landscape and intentional solitude, encouraging restoration through these core pillars.

Details for the first KHUN experiences, including dates, location and price, remain under wraps, but it’s set to debut before the end of the year.

The rejuvenating sanctuary will first land in Fujairah, but is designed to be relocatable, ensuring each location preserves the national landscape while intentionally creating space for guests to reset.

The brainchild of three founders: Ali El-Sakhawy, Tarek Abou Dib and Aya Khourshid, KHUN, meaning “Be” in Arabic, looks to reimagine the modern wellness retreat, drawing inspiration from the rich history of thinking around health and environment that’s long existed within the Arab world.  “At the heart of KHUN is the idea of Afiyah- a state of wholeness shaped by our relationship with the world around us,” said Aya Khourshid, Co-Founder and Director of Wellness Lineage. “KHUN is about restoring a connection that has gradually been severed, reviving a philosophy of care that has always been part of our heritage.”
