Дата публикации: 29-09-2026 08:00:00

The Hornets, along with our Community, Sports & Education Trust, are delighted to be supporting the Watford Inclusive Job Fair on Thursday October 22, taking place at Watford Colosseum from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Organised by Hertfordshire Futures and Step2Skills (part of Hertfordshire County Council), in partnership with Watford Council, DWP and West Herts College, the event will bring together employers, Hertfordshire’s employment support service and motivated jobseekers from across the county in a welcoming and accessible environment.
The fair aims to connect local employers with talented and motivated candidates while helping residents explore job opportunities, access careers advice and build confidence in their employment journey.
Local businesses looking to recruit and residents seeking employment opportunities are being encouraged to attend.
“The Step2Skills Inclusive Job Fair is about bringing together employers and residents in a supportive environment where skills, potential and opportunity can meet,” said Georgina De-Allie, an Employer Liaison Officer from Hertfordshire Futures.
“We know that many employers are looking for dedicated people to join their workforce, while many residents simply need the chance to demonstrate what they can offer.
“This event helps create those connections while ensuring everyone can access the support they need to participate fully.”The event is open to anyone looking for work, training or a change in career direction.
It is particularly aimed at supporting residents who may experience challenges in finding employment, including disabled people, individuals with health conditions, carers, older workers and people returning to work.

Meet employers who are actively recruiting
Learn about current and future job opportunities
