The stunning home blends California modernism and restrained Brutalism, as soaring ceilings, exposed beams and vast windows bring the leafy surroundings into the home.
Michael B Jordan clearly knew a good thing when he saw it – but whoever buys his former Hollywood Hills home would be getting an expensive sequel.
The Black Panther star paid $5.8 million for the secluded property in 2019, sold it for $6.95 million less than three years later – after which it underwent a lavish makeover.
Now Jordan's former hideaway is back on the market for a staggering $14 million.
For that price, buyers get rather more than four walls and a famous former owner.
There is a mirrored sauna that appears to melt into the surrounding greenery, a professional pizza oven, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen and enough gated parking for up to ten cars.
The 4,910sq ft property sits on just over an acre in Upper Nichols Canyon, one of Los Angeles' most exclusive pockets, on a winding stretch of Woodrow Wilson Drive known as 'celebrity row.'
Originally designed by architect Jeffrey Mills in 1997, the four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home was purchased by former MTV host Daisy Fuentes in 2005 for a reported $4.5 million.
She sold it to Jordan in an off-market deal for $5.8 million in September 2019, according to property reports.
Home undergoes makeoverThe actor then sold the house in May 2022 for $6.95 million.
The current owners, founders of Los Angeles design studio Ome Dezin, bought it for $5.25 million in July 2025 and have spent around a year and a half revamping the interiors and grounds.
Their work has given the property, which at one point served as an art gallery, a stunning makeover, blending California modernism and restrained Brutalism with a distinctly homely feel.
Ome Dezin founders Joelle Hutner and Jesse Rudolph said the existing architecture and surrounding landscape were key inspirations for the redesign.
Inside, soaring ceilings, exposed beams and vast windows bring the leafy surroundings into the home.
Meanwhile, glass doors in the main living spaces open directly onto the gardens and pool.
The house also features a screening room and library, formal dining and reception areas with an integrated bar, and a substantial kitchen fitted with a state-of-the-art cooker and professional pizza oven.
As for the bedrooms, the ground-floor guest suite opens directly onto the pool and gardens, while upstairs, the primary suite comes with a fireplace, corner terrace and expansive dressing room.
Two additional upstairs bedrooms each feature their own private balcony, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom.
Home features luxury amenitiesBut the primary bathroom is perhaps the biggest showstopper, with a dramatic freestanding marble tub sitting in the middle of the room and an oversized marble shower surrounded by swirling blue and white stone.
Outside, the property becomes even more extravagant.
The grounds are wrapped in mature trees and tropical landscaping, with a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fire-pit lounge, outdoor kitchen, sculptural fountain, stepped waterfall and multiple terraces and garden rooms.
Then there is the mirrored sauna pavilion.
The cube-like structure reflects the trees around it, making it look almost as though it has been swallowed by the garden.
Inside is the sauna itself and a chartreuse-tiled bathroom, adding another splash of design drama to the already highly curated grounds.
There is also a gym, butler's pantry, covered two-car garage and gated driveway with space for up to ten vehicles.
But the property's biggest bragging right may be its address.
Neighborhood has long attracted Hollywood starsWoodrow Wilson Drive has long attracted Hollywood names, with previous reports linking stars including Lady Gaga, Robert Pattinson, Niall Horan, Zac Efron and Will Ferrell to the area.
The wider Nichols Canyon neighborhood has an even longer celebrity pedigree, with past residents reported to include Ava Gardner, Frank Sinatra, Steve McQueen, Ringo Starr, Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, Kevin Costner and Renée Zellweger.
The appeal is obvious.
Despite being minutes from Hollywood, West Hollywood, Los Feliz and the Sunset Strip, Upper Nichols Canyon feels remarkably removed from the city, with winding roads, dense greenery and gated homes tucked into the hills.
The canyon is also known for its hiking and wildlife, with deer, hawks, coyotes and even bobcats found in the area.
Residents are close to Runyon Canyon's hiking trails and the restaurants, bars and nightlife of West Hollywood, while still being able to retreat behind their gates at the end of the day.
Nichols Canyon has also attracted artists and architects over the years, with the area's distinctive homes and landscape becoming part of Los Angeles' architectural history.
And now, one of its most glamorous properties is looking for a new owner.
Listed by Charles Derenne, Silke Fernald and Dominique Madden of Serhant, the former Jordan home is asking $14 million.
That works out at roughly $2,850 per square foot – or, put another way, about $8.2 million more than Jordan originally paid for the property.
For the buyer, the real question is whether the celebrity address, secluded acre of land and extraordinarily elaborate outdoor setup are worth the Hollywood-sized premium.
