Tool wear comp probing update seems to increment and add each part

Hi there - Finishing a bore to hit a spec with 2d contour. Haas Pre-NGC controller. I rough, then use a finishing tool to semi-finish, probe and update tool wear, then run the finishing. Both semi finish and finish are set to 'in control'  Each part that runs the bore grows in size. Each time I run I watch the wear value in my control and it seems to only go up.  The bore size is 28.65 mm +/- .04 The first part was perfect, 28.649The second, slightly larger (can't remember) Now, after 3 or 4 parts, the bore is huge 28.74, then 28.79 My tool wear comp value on the control is a negative value and it keeps growing. -0.22 , -0.28, -0.33 (for example)  Is there something I am doing wrong? I have the minimum update threshold set to 0.03 and error correction set to 1% These values worked great on the first part, but now I'm not sure if they are giving me errors.  Thanks!
