  Aye Finance posts record quarterly profit, credit costs fall for seventh straight quarter

  Aye Finance reported a record profit after tax of ₹86.7 crore for the second quarter of FY27 (July–September 2026), a 151 per cent jump year-on-year and 16 per cent rise sequentially, the NBFC announced on October 21, 2026. The result marks the highest quarterly profit in the company’s history. 

  Return on AUM rose to 4.7 per cent, compared to 2.4 per cent in the same quarter last year, while Return on Equity improved to 13.1 per cent from 8.1 per cent a year ago. Credit costs declined for the seventh consecutive quarter, falling to 3.8 per cent from 5.0 per cent in Q2FY26. The operating expense ratio dropped to 8.6 per cent, the lowest in eight quarters. 

  On the business side, Assets Under Management grew 26 per cent year-on-year to ₹7,597 crore, while disbursements rose 10 per cent annually to ₹1,403 crore. The company added 49,150 new borrowers during the quarter, up 26 per cent year-on-year, taking total active customers to 6.94 lakh. Gross NPA improved to 4.2 per cent from 4.5 per cent in the previous quarter. 

  Net Interest Margin stood at 15.6 per cent, up 173 basis points year-on-year, while incremental cost of borrowing declined 72 basis points annually to 10.04 per cent. Net worth as of September 30, 2026 stood at ₹2,695 crore. 

  Managing Director Sanjay Sharma said the company remains on track to meet its FY27 guidance and expects Return on Equity to rise steadily as it deploys capital raised during its February 2026 IPO.
