This is a resub from awhile ago. I think I said everything I needed to last time but I will say it seems like at some point I had done some work on it to try and get it resubbed. Mainly what seems to have been done is adjusting some of the sample volumes and changing around verb saturations and the like. Now, what I was about to do was go back in and really redo the beginning and change some things in the arrangement in the second half. However, I like keeping things as a snapshot in time and this song is sort of a peak of a way I was writing at the time. It sounds lazy (and maybe it is) but I'd like it to be sort of a capstone to that time of my music life. One where I leaned towards starting conservative (almost to a fault but it was my thing haha) and then showing how it can transform into something else. I still want to incorporate aspects of that into my writing going forward because I like that but I think as I am now, I can't or won't do it it like I used to. But, I like looking back on the things I did and keeping them the way they were. Call it an eccentricity of mine.
Therefore, before I get to reworking it, let's see if I had done enough to push this one across the line. If not, then that's okay! It's also cool to bring something from awhile ago into the evolution of me today. Not that I'm some completely different composer but GSM and getting older changes you! But part of me hopes the snapshot of the past can put an end to that era and then I can bring my efforts towards newer projects!
