Hi everyone, I'm posting on behalf of my grandmother, a Diamond VIP customer of 26 years. (Probably means zero as much as Sky Reps push it to be special) We’ve been stuck in a complete nightmare loop with Sky customer services for over a month and are getting nowhere. Hoping someone here has advice on how to get this "stuck" order resolved or how to reach a team that can actually help. Here is a quick summary of what's happened: Sept 2nd: A Sky rep called offering a Sky Q Mini box, initially quoting £50 upfront plus £15/month. When she declined due to cost, the rep tried pushing a switch to "Pay As You Talk" landline, though my grandmother explicitly said no to changing her package. (A later rep even pointed out the first Mini box should have been free anyway, rather than the £50 fee originally quoted). Sept 12th: Outgoing landline calls were suddenly blocked. On calling Sky, we found out the first rep had changed her plan to Pay As You Talk, causing call charges to spike and triggering an automated block. The agent cancelled the change, reapplied "Anytime," and promised reconnection in 24 hours. Sept 24th: Call listening confirmed the plan change was done without permission. They agreed to credit the account, but claimed the line couldn't reconnect until her next bill date on Oct 6th. Oct 6th & 12th: Bill paid, but outgoing calls remained blocked. On further investigation, a rep found the account is stuck in "limbo" because the pending cancellation of Pay As You Talk and activation of Anytime are clashing on the system. Oct 20th: Spoke to another agent who raised a 4th escalation and promised a callback by Friday (complete with dramatic claims about losing his job if it wasn't sorted). Surprise surprise—still no callback and no working landline.Where we stand now: Outgoing calls have been blocked for well over a month.4 separate escalations raised with endless broken promises of 48–72 hour callbacks. The landline appears stuck in an automated system loop between two pending orders.Has anyone dealt with this kind of system "limbo" between landline packages before? Is there a specific executive team, formal complaint channel, or escalation route we can take to get a human to manually clear this? Massively appreciate any advice!
