Delta Air Lines is adding another transatlantic destination from Boston in 2027.

The airline, a leading carrier at Logan Airport, will launch nonstop daily service between Boston and Reykjavík, Iceland, on April 12, 2027, the company announced on Friday. The seasonal service will run through Oct. 30, 2027.

Logan, Delta’s closest U.S. hub to Europe, is one of the fastest-growing American hubs for transatlantic departures, according to the airline. Delta recently announced it will begin nonstop service between Boston and Venice on May 7, 2027. The airline will also increase its Milan service from Boston next year with daily departures.

Reykjavík will become Delta’s 14th long-haul destination from Boston during the peak summer season and its 16th international destination, according to the airline. Travelers will fly on a Boeing 757-200, featuring Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main.

The airline also announced new nonstop service between Detroit and Athens; and Austin and Paris.

“Customers continue to seek more flexibility, convenience and choice when traveling to Europe, whether they are planning a spring escape, a summer vacation or a fall getaway,” Jeff Arinder, the vice president of international network planning for Delta, said in a statement. “By adding new European destinations from Detroit and Boston, establishing Austin as a new gateway to Europe and extending service on several popular routes, we’re giving customers more choice, greater flexibility and more opportunities to travel when and how they want.”
