Bostonians can experience a gondola ride with their sweetheart via a nonstop flight to Venice, Italy, on Delta Air Lines this spring.
Delta, a leading carrier at Logan International Airport, is adding nonstop seasonal service between Boston and Venice Marco Polo Airport on May 7, 2027, the airline announced Friday. The service will be offered four times a week through Oct. 29, 2027.
Venice travelers will fly on the widebody Airbus A330-300, which includes Delta One, its most premium travel experience, and Delta Premium Select, its premium economy cabin.
Boston will become Delta’s third U.S. gateway to Venice, and the route will mark Delta’s 13th long-haul destination from Boston during the peak summer season, according to Delta officials.

“Italy continues to be an incredibly popular destination for New England travelers, and we are excited to add Venice to our growing list of international destinations,” Sharon Williams, executive director of aviation at Massport, said in a statement. “This new service provides our passengers with another opportunity to experience Italy’s incredible culture, history, and tourism while strengthening the ties between our two regions. We’re grateful to Delta for continuing to invest in Boston and expand choices for our passengers.”
Delta said it is experiencing significant international growth at Logan Airport. Next summer, Delta will offer nearly 25,000 weekly transatlantic seats from Boston and at least four more daily flights to Europe than any other carrier, according to Delta officials.

Logan, Delta’s closest U.S. hub to Europe, is one of the fastest growing American hubs for transatlantic departures, according to the airline. Delta added service from Boston to Milan and Barcelona in 2025 and the airline will increase Milan service with daily departures in 2027, according to the statement.
Delta announced it is also beefing up service to Los Angeles, Aruba, and Montego Bay.
The airline is adding a fifth daily flight from Boston to Los Angeles, which begins on May 6, 2027 and will be operated on an Airbus A321neo. The airline is also doubling service to Aruba from once to twice daily and increasing service to Montego Bay to four times weekly.
Travelers can begin booking Venice trips from Boston on delta.com on Sept. 27.
