12017-08-24. Японская Interstellar Technologies обнародовала свои ближайшие планы.
Японский стартап, который пытается выйти на рынок пусковых услуг, объявил о том, что:
1. До конца года повторит попытку запуска своей ракеты (Momo), которая должна будет уметь выводить грузы на высоту около 100 км (в первой попытке разрабатываемая ракета достигла высоты полета в 20 км). Стоимость пуска серийного изделия должна будет составлять около $0.3 млн. Массы выводимой полезной нагрузки около 20 кг.
2. В 2019 году компания планирует начать летные испытания своей легкой ракеты, которая должна будет выводить на солнечно-синхронную орбиту (500-700 км) 100 кг. Стоимость пуска должна будет составлять $3 млн. Особенностью ракеты будет являться то, что она будет разрабатываться на основе научно-технического задела, который был создан при разработке РН Momo.
