12016-05-23. Индия успешно запустила технологический демонстратор ракеты многоразового использования.
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) продолжает свои разработки в области многоразовых ракетных систем. На этот раз агентство решило произвело тестовый запуск своей многоразовой ступени. В ходе проведения эксперимента ISRO рассчитывает:
1. Осуществить эксперимент по сверх-звуковому выведению.
2. Провести приземление ступени (поскольку в агентстве не планируют использовать конкретно эту ступень второй раз, то при приземлении она скорее всего будет разрушена, но предоставит материал и информацию для дальнейшего изучения).
3. Повторное использованию ступени (планируется что окончательный вариант дизайна ступени будет через 5-10 лет).
4. Провести испытание прямоточного сверхзвукового двигателя который будет получать окислитель из атмосферы.
Запуск состоялся сегодня. В качестве ступени использовался уменьшенный в размерах технологический демонстратор (ТД) который имеет массу 1.75 тонн, 6.5 метров в длину. ТД осуществил возврат на Землю с высоты около 65 км. достигнув скорости около 5 МАХ.
Демонстратор разрабатывали в течение пяти лет, стоимость работ около 14 миллионов долларов.
Предполагается что в итоге данная система позволить снизить стоимость выведения полезной нагрузки на НОО и ССО до 500 долларов за килограмм за счет того, что в условиях значительно меньшего размера (по сравнению с кораблем Спейс Шатл) и значительного упрощения, вызванного отсутствием систем жизнеообеспечения, будет возможным использовать новую ступень до 100 раз. Относительно будущих характеристик системы известно что она должна будет выводить на орбиту до 1000 кг, что делает ее сопоставимой c требованиями которые предъявила DARPA к разработчикам многоразовых легких ракет. CSIR- National Aerospace Laboratories Proud to Associate with ISRO’s RLV-TD Success CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bengaluru a premier aerospace R&D institution under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research was proud to associate with the successful launch of ISRO’s Reusable Launch Vehicle – Technology Demonstrator (RLV-TD). CSIR-NAL has contributed significantly to the success of the programme. Acoustic tests on the RLV-TD were carried out at the Acoustic test Facility (ATF) of CSIR-NAL during April 2016. These tests were primarily to assess the integrity of the vehicle under acoustic loads during the lift-off phase and during the flight through the denser portions of the atmosphere. The ATF simulates in a 1100 cu. m reverberant chamber, the acoustic levels experienced by the vehicle during these two phases of flight. In order to assess the performance of the vehicle in this environment, it was extensively instrumented with vibration and strain sensors. Acoustic sensors were positioned in the chamber , around the vehicle to monitor the homogeneity of the acoustic field. The ATF conducted a series of acoustic tests at different overall sound pressure levels in steps to determine the vehicle performance. The RLV-TD was “live” with all it’s critical payloads active and operational during the acoustic tests. The vehicle health was continuously monitored with a vehicle checkout system, similar to that established at the launch pad. For the first time, vehicle telemetry systems were also “live” and telemetry data was transmitted in real time during the tests to the ISRO Master Control Facility (MCF) at Hassan ,through a chain of RF links from the reverberation chamber at ATF , using one of the INSAT series of satellites. Almost 100 personnel, belonging to a number of units of ISRO participated in the test along with staff of ATF. The tests were completed successfully and analysis of all the data acquired during the acoustic tests indicated satisfactory performance of the vehicle. The 1.2m wind tunnel of CSIR-NAL is the major workhorse for all the national aerospace programmes in India. For the RLV-TD programme, the contributions of the 1.2m wind tunnel include; overall aerodynamic data RLV model used for unsteady pressure measurements at NAL’s Wind Tunnel RLV-TD positioned in the reverberation chamber for acoustic test required for determination of stability and controllability, unsteady pressure distributions for characterization of structural integrity, and pitch and yaw-damping measurements to determine the response of the vehicle to disturbances etc. Tests have been conducted in the 1.2m wind tunnel covering wide range of angles of incidence and wind speeds up to 4 times the speed of sound. The other significant S&T contributions and specialized tests for the programme which are unique and available only at NAL are in the areas of; finite element analysis of the engineering model of the RLV-TD and included detailed analysis for structural joints etc. Work was carried out regarding panel flutter especially in the high temperature regimes. RLV-TD structural flexibility interaction with aerodynamics has been qualified through aeroelastic testing at CSIR-NAL for transonic buffet estimation and flutter clearance to ensure a safety of the experimental flight. For the first time, NAL developed indigenous binary Pressure Sensitive Paint (PSP) technology was applied on the RLV model from VSSC in wind tunnel tests to obtain surface pressure measurements during the vehicle’s ascent & descent under transonic and supersonic conditions. Ascent configuration of RLV RLV descent configuration with single vertical tail 1:15 Scaled RLV-TD flexible Model for Transonic Buffet Estimation CSIR-NAL led National Claw Team based on their vast experience in developing control laws for the TEJAS Aircraft programme assisted the design and development of RLVTD Control Laws (especially for the descent phase when the flight re-enters the atmosphere) through detailed technical reviews. The team also assisted the VSSC designers in the design and review of the Flush Airdata System (FADS) algorithms, defining the flight test instrumentation for validating the Control Laws and Aero data base, and reviewing the Ironbird which was set up for testing RLV-TD control laws on ground prior to actual flight.
