Zero 2 Infinity PR провела успешные испытания своей системы воздушного старта. Согласно заявлению компании испытания проходили по следующей схеме:
1. Компания на корабле вывезла РН и воздушный шар на несколько миль от побережья Испании.
2. Вслед за этим воздушный шар поднялся на высоту около 20 км, а затем РН была передана команда на включение ДУ.
Целью испытаний являлись:
1. Проверка системы передачи телеметрии.
2. Проверка системы стабилизации ракеты.
3. Проверка системы управления зажиганием.
4. Проверка последовательности пусковых команд.
5. Проверка возможностей парашютной системы.
6. Спасение РН из воды.

Испанская IT компания Indra объявила о том, что она поможет барселонскому стартапу Zero 2 в разработке системы воздушного старта на основе использования воздушных шаров. В компаниях также отметили, что они запланировали проведение новых испытаний на конец этого года. Отличительной особенностью взаимоотношений двух организаций является то, что они не предусматривают финансовой составляющей, а сосредоточены только на своем долгосрочном технологическом развитии.

Bloostar это ракетная система которая будет использовать воздушные шары для реализации своего проекта воздушного старта сверхлегкой ракеты. К ее потребительским характеристикам в компании относят возможность выведения 75 кг. на НОО. В состав ракеты будет входить шесть двигателей Teide 1 на второй ступени и один на третьей.
